2025 Anacortes Halibut Derby
May 3rd & 4th, 2025
We had an exciting weekend of halibut fishing in Washington’s Marine Areas 6 & 7. We had 183 seasoned anglers competing to land a giant halibut, competing for top prizes, and they enjoyed a weekend of fishing and community.

- Fishing Dates: May 3rd & 4, 2025 (Started at sunrise both days)
- Weigh-in Location: Skyline Marina, Anacortes, WA
- Weigh-in Times:
- Saturday: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Awards Ceremony: Sunday at 6:00 PM, Washington Park, Anacortes, WA
- Included gourmet chili dogs, water, and door prizes

- First Place: $7,400
- Second Place: $2,200
- Third Place: $800
- Secret Weight Prize: $500
- Veteran Bonus Prize: $250
Payouts were based on 50% of derby proceeds.
