Another great Anacortes Kids Fishing Event,
made possible by the collaborative efforts of the City of Anacortes and the Puget Sound Anglers,
offering an enriching experience for children to connect with nature and develop a passion for fishing.
74 children participated. Eleven year-old Atlas Bulfinch hooked the biggest at 2 pounds, 1 ounce. Avery Fann, 9, claimed the smallest at an estimated 0.2 ounces.

Ace Hardware of Anacortes provided fishing supplies that were given away to kids throughout the day in a raffle. |
