Fishing starts at Sunrise May 18 and 19, 2024 and scales open at 3:00PM and close at 6:00PM on Saturday and 5:00PM on Sunday. You must be in line when the scales close to be eligible to weigh a fish. Fishing is authorized in WDFW Marine Areas 6 and 7. The weigh in and awards ceremony is at Washington Park, Anacortes, WA. Fish may be transported to the weigh in by boat or vehicle.
Tickets will be sold online only. Tickets are $100 per participant. Ticket sales close midnight Wednesday May 15, 2024.
Awards Presentations start at 5:30PM Sunday at Washington Park, Anacortes, WA. Gourmet Chili and water will be provided. Note: Payout will be 50% of derby proceeds to a maximum of $15,000.
First Place: $10,000
Second Place: $3,000
Third Place: $1,000
Secret Weight: $1,000
(the secret weight will be more than 10 pounds
so smaller fish may be released at the participants discretion)
